Trend Wire Group is privately owned and operated by Yash Malviya, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He is the founder and editor and the controller responsible for any personal data described on this page. For any privacy question, request or complaint, email info@trendwiregroup.com. That address reaches a person, not a queue.
This policy covers trendwiregroup.com only. Each publication in the group is a separate website with its own privacy policy, and some of them do use analytics cookies with your consent. Read the policy on the title you are visiting: it is linked in that site's footer.
There are none.
We set no cookies of any kind on this site: no analytics cookies, no advertising or social media cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing from a third party. Because nothing non-essential is stored on your device, there is no consent banner to click through and nothing for you to opt out of.
One thing is stored in your browser, and it is not a cookie. If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is written to your own browser's local storage under the name twg-theme. It never leaves your device, it is never sent to us, and we have no way to read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Next.js downloads them at build time, so loading a page here makes no request to a font service and reveals your address to nobody.
They open your email app.
The contact form, the pitch form and the write-for-us form do not submit anything to a server. What you type stays in your browser until you press send, at which point your own email program opens with the message already written and addressed to info@trendwiregroup.com. You can read it, change it or close it without sending. We receive nothing unless you send that email yourself.
When you do email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it and to keep a record of the conversation, and no longer than we have a reason to. We reply from the same address. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them for advertising.
There is no newsletter on this site and no reader account. We never ask for payment details, government identification or any special category data, and we make no automated decisions about you.
What the hosting sees.
Like every website, our host automatically records technical details of each request: your IP address, the page requested, your browser type and the time. These logs exist to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else.
- Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting and content delivery for this site. It processes the server logs described above.
- The provider of our info@trendwiregroup.com mailbox: handles emails you send us and our replies.
That is the whole list. No analytics provider, no advertising network, no social media pixel, no data broker, no customer relationship tool. If we add a provider that handles your personal data, we will name it here before any data reaches it.
We may disclose data if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a successor if the group is ever sold or restructured, in which case this policy would continue to protect it.
And how to use them.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on legitimate interests for the two things we do: replying to messages you choose to send us, and keeping the site secure through server logs. Both are limited to what you would reasonably expect from a company you have just written to. Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, we process your data on the basis of the consent you give by writing to us, or for the other cases that law permits.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Email info@trendwiregroup.com and we will answer within 30 days. You do not have to give a reason. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your national data protection authority, and in the UAE to the UAE Data Office.
Our sites are not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. External links, including to the publications in the group, lead to sites with their own policies, which we do not control.
